Summer Sun Label

When Summer Sun Label first approached me in 2023, their digital presence was in its early stages — minimal engagement, no video content, an underperforming website, and little to no email marketing or paid advertising. They had a strong product and a beautiful brand story, but needed structure, strategy, and content that connected.

Over the past two years, I’ve worked closely with the brand to develop and execute a full-scale digital strategy. Together, we’ve built a cohesive and engaging social presence that reflects the brand’s values and aesthetic, while supporting consistent sales and long-term growth.

  • Grew Instagram following organically, boosting engagement through strategic content pillars, reels, and storytelling

  • Introduced short-form video across campaigns, launches, and behind-the-scenes content, driving reach and saves

  • Helped redesign and streamline the website, improving the user experience and conversion flow

  • Launched regular email marketing campaigns (EDMs) with consistent branding, strong open rates, and product-driven focus

  • Advised on and supported the rollout of paid social advertising, helping reach new audiences and drive online sales

  • Supported the brand as they expanded into the US market and secured stockists across both Australia and the US

First national Byron bay

Working alongside top-performing agent Tara Torkkola, I developed and implemented a full-service real estate marketing strategy designed to build her personal brand, increase local awareness, and generate consistent vendor leads — with a core focus on the Sunrise Estate and Byron Bay hinterland region.

Key Contributions:

  • Content Strategy & Planning: Built a 12-month, quarterly social content roadmap tailored to seasonal selling trends, key local suburbs, and vendor education.

  • Video & Reel Concepts: Developed original on-camera content series including “Time Out with Tara”, covering FAQs, local market insights, and buyer/seller advice.

  • Brand Awareness Campaigns: Designed and launched targeted paid Meta campaigns (Facebook & Instagram) to position Tara as the go-to local agent — including custom ad sets and retargeting strategies.

  • Property Campaigns: Delivered creative concepts, ad captions, and strategic rollouts for listings including 60 Butler St Byron Bay, 451 Federal Drive Federal, and others — combining organic and paid channels.

  • Visual Identity & Consistency: Introduced branded templates for carousels, testimonials, just sold posts, and before/after transformations for a clean, professional aesthetic across platforms.

  • Press & Editorial Support: Wrote and positioned PR campaigns for high-profile properties such as Rockinghorse Studio, pitched to national outlets (e.g. Rolling Stone, Vogue Living).

 

Key Wins:

  • Achieved consistent growth in Tara’s Instagram reach, profile visits, and audience engagement through Reels and localised campaigns.

  • Elevated Tara’s profile across Byron’s key selling regions, helping her dominate conversations around property in Sunrise and Federal.

  • Created a scalable, high-quality content system Tara and her videographer can easily implement moving forward.
